...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM MST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Maricopa County in south central Arizona...
  East Central La Paz County in west central Arizona...

* WHEN...Until 1215 AM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 911 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
    area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Gladden, Wenden, Salome and Aguila.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM MST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
  Southeastern Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...

* WHEN...Until 145 AM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry washes. Water over
  roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1137 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
    an area of training showers and isolated thunderstorms extending
    from Marana to Oro Valley to Catalina. Up to 1 inch of fain has
    fallen is spots. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Catalina, Oro Valley, Marana, Oracle, Casas Adobes, Saddlebrooke,
    Saddlebrooke Ranch, Tortolita, Saguaro National Park West,
    Picture Rocks, Oracle Junction, Dove Mountain and Biosphere 2.
  - This includes the following highways...
    Route 79 between mile markers 92 and 99. Route 77 between mile
    markers 82 and 107. Interstate 10 between mile markers 237 and
    249.

    This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations...
    Twin Peaks Rd between Sanders and Sandario, Silverbell Rd near
    Ina Rd, Overton Rd at Canada del Oro and E Wilds Rd at the Canada
    del Oro.

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by heavy rain over the past 36
  hours continues.

* WHERE...Southwestern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...

* WHEN...Until 945 AM MST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 950 PM MST, gauge reports indicated indicated the Vamori Wash
    is at 9.76 feet, slightly below flood stage of 9.80 feet. This
    will cause small stream flooding and could cause impacts at the
    Highway 21 bridge and downstream to the International Border.
  - Vamori Wash at Highway 21 bridge is the most likely place to
    experience minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Santa Cruz.
