...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 5 below in the Albuquerque
  metro area and wind chills as low as 20 below in the mountains.

* WHERE...Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro
  Area, Northwest Plateau, Chuska Mountains, Far Northwest
  Highlands, Northwest Highlands, Jemez Mountains, and Espanola
  Valley.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM MST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills will increase the risk
  of hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO
9 AM MST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 15 to 20 below expected.

* WHERE...Animas River Basin, Four Corners/Upper Dolores River, San
  Juan River Basin, Central Gunnison and Uncompahgre River Basin,
  and Debeque to Silt Corridor.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 9 AM MST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could
  result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.
  Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is
  exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make sure outdoor animals
have a warm, dry shelter, food, and unfrozen water.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
