EVENING...

* WHAT...Seas 7 to 10 ft at 12 seconds and north winds 5 to 15 kt.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from Cape Shoalwater to Florence out 60
  NM.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highest seas within the inner waters with
  periodic seas of 9 ft at 10 to 12 seconds in the outer waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

EVENING...

* WHAT...Rough bar conditions expected.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft,
  especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the
  Columbia River Bar.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...General seas 7 to 9 ft. First ebb current
  of 4.84 kt at 533 AM Monday. Seas 7 to 8 ft. Second ebb current
  of 5.24 kt at 554 PM Monday. Seas 6 to 7 ft.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to
be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River
Bar. Mariners are advised to obtain the latest bar conditions
from the United States Coast Guard before attempting to cross the
bar.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
5 AM PDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...North winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and steep seas
  5 to 8 ft due to a mix of short period wind seas and northwest
  swell expected.

* WHERE...Through early Tuesday morning, all waters beyond 5 nm
  from shore between Cape Blanco and Reedsport and within 5 nm of
  shore near Cape Blanco. Then, Tuesday through Tuesday night,
  all the waters beyond 10 nm from shore between Florence to Cape
  Blanco and between 5 to 10 nm of shore near Cape Blanco.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 5 AM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds and/or steep seas could capsize or
  damage smaller vessels.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners and those operating smaller vessels should
remain in port and avoid the area of hazardous conditions.
