...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Beaverhead - Lemhi Highlands, Arco/Mud Lake Desert, Lower
  Snake River Plain, and Upper Snake River Plain.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could make driving difficult, especially for
  high profile vehicles. Unsecured objects may be blown around.
  Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous
  conditions for small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Secure outdoor objects.

Boaters on area lakes should use extra caution since strong winds
and rough waves can overturn small craft.

MIDNIGHT MDT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph near
  Wendover and south and east of the Raft River Range. Northwest
  winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph elsewhere.

* WHERE...Great Salt Lake Desert and Mountains.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to midnight MDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
  power outages may result. Blowing dust may reduce visibility on
  I-80 from Wendover to Grantsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
