EVENING FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE
WEATHER ZONES 424, 425, 427, 438, 469, AND 470...

The National Weather Service in Elko has extended the Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect until 11 PM PDT this evening.

* WIND...Sustained southwest to west winds near 20 mph, with
  gusts near 35 mph.

* HUMIDITY...Relative humidity values as low as 5 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity values, and hot temperatures
can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
