This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms capable of producing
damaging wind gusts are possible late morning into the afternoon.
A tornado or two is also possible.

Special Marine Warnings may be needed for strong winds associated
with showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

Gusty winds to around 45 mph are possible outside of thunderstorms
today, which may result in a few downed trees, branches, and
power lines.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 2pm for the central and
northern Virginia Blue Ridge. Wind gusts up to 50 mph could result
in tree and power line damage.

Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms capable of producing
damaging wind gusts are possible late morning into the afternoon.
A tornado or two is also possible.

Gusty winds to around 45 mph are possible outside of thunderstorms
Sunday, which may result in a few downed trees, branches, and
power lines.

western Massachusetts and portions of eastern New York.

Strong south to southeast winds are expected to develop this
afternoon into early evening, with some gusts possibly approaching or
exceeding 45 MPH especially for areas east of the Hudson Valley. If
confidence increases a Wind Advisory would be issued.

A period of moderate to heavy rain could lead to localized minor
flooding in some urban and poor drainage areas late this afternoon
into early tonight.

Strong gusty winds are possible on Friday behind a cold frontal
passage.
