...FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM MDT /3 AM PDT/ TO 9 AM MDT /8
AM PDT/ TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Temperatures below 36 degrees will result in frost
  formation.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Idaho and
  southeast Oregon.

* WHEN...From 4 AM MDT /3 AM PDT/ to 9 AM MDT /8 AM PDT/ Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
  outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Frost is not expected in the Boise metro with
  low temperatures there expected to be between 38 and 42 degrees.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

* WHAT...Temperatures as low as 33 will result in frost formation.

* WHERE...Upper Hood River Valley.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 9 AM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
  outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender outdoor plants from the cold.
Consider temporarily moving outdoor potted plants indoors if they
are sensitive to cold temperatures.

Consider temporarily covering sensitive plants with a lightweight
cotton fabric (i.e., bedsheets, thin blankets), as this will help
retain heat and provide frost protection for your plants.
