Washington...

  Naches River near Naches affecting Yakima County.

For the Naches River...including Naches...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE SUNDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Naches River near Naches.

* WHEN...Until late Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Moderate flooding is possible from
  Cliffdell downstream to Yakima.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:45 PM PDT Thursday the stage was 18.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:45 PM PDT Thursday was 18.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 19.1 feet late Saturday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon
    and then to 17.1 feet Tuesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 17.8 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    19.0 feet on 11/30/1995.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and near moderate flooding
  is forecast.

* WHERE...Snoqualmie River near Carnation.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 56.0 feet, the Snoqualmie River will cause widespread
  flooding from Fall City downstream through Carnation and Duvall...
  inundating much of the farm land and numerous roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 5:15 PM PDT Thursday the stage was 56.3 feet.
  - Flood stage is 54.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 5:15 PM PDT Thursday was 56.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain near moderate
    flood stage through early Saturday morning before falling
    below flood stage early Saturday afternoon and continue
    falling to 49.3 feet Sunday afternoon.

.Light to periodically moderate rain is expected for the lower
Stehekin Valley this week along with melting snow as temperatures
warm into the 40s and 50s. Flows in rivers will increase quickly and
reach critical levels.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues for the
  lower Stehekin Valley.

* WHERE...A portion of North Central Washington, including the
  following county, Chelan.

* WHEN...Until 1100 PM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...When the Stehekin River gauge hits 19.3 feet, water
  breaches the river bank. At 20 feet, water inundates some
  properties and overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company
  Creek Road begins to flood in places at the northern end and
  Battalion Creek culverts are beginning to be overtopped. At 20.5
  feet, water begins to damage Wood Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 924 PM PDT, the Stehekin River is at 19.9 feet. River
    levels will continue to rise through the week with an
    expected crest of 22.9 feet on Saturday.
