...FIRST SNOW OF THE SEASON THIS MORNING...

Snow will persist into early afternoon. Accumulations of a
coating to an inch are most likely, with up to two inches along
the Mason-Dixon line and up to three inches possible in the
highest elevations of the Catoctins.

Although most accumulation is expected to be on grassy and
elevated surfaces, be prepared for the potential for slippery
roads. Visibility may briefly drop to less than one mile. Slow
down and use caution while driving, especially on bridges and
overpasses. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps
taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
