...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 8 to
  11 inches in the most persistent lake snows across the Chautauqua
  Ridge, with 4 to 8 inches expected in other areas.

* WHERE...Chautauqua County.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult. The hazardous conditions could
  impact the Monday and Tuesday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snowfall is expected to occur
  late Monday night into early Tuesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be
prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Accumulations of 6 inches
  or more possible.

* WHERE...Warren County.

* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 1 PM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will be light snow during the day today
  with accumulations of 1 to 3 inches by sunset. However, the
  majority of snowfall is expected to fall between Monday night and
  late Tuesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for

...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow occurring. Additional snow
  accumulations of 5 to 8 inches.

* WHERE...Southern Erie and Crawford counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
  mile due to falling and blowing snow. The strong winds and weight
  of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause
  sporadic power outages. Travel could be difficult. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Localized tree damage and power outages are
  possible due to the combined weight of wet snow accumulations
  and leaves remaining on the trees. Snowfall rates within the
  strongest bands may reach 1 to 2 inches per hour.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
