This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Ohio, and
northern West Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A cold front will approach the Ohio Valley Wednesday night, and could
stall in or near the region into the weekend. Severe thunderstorms
are possible both Wednesday and Thursday. Damaging wind will be the
primary threat, although hail and a tornado or two cannot be ruled
out.

The stalled front will also provide a threat of heavy rainfall from
Wednesday night into the upcoming weekend, with small-stream flash
flooding and mainstem river rises/flooding both possibilities. A
Flood Watch will likely be needed with future forecast updates.

northern West Virginia.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A cold front will approach the Ohio Valley Wednesday night, and could
stall in or near the region into the weekend. Severe thunderstorms
are possible both Wednesday and Thursday. Damaging wind would be the
primary threat, although hail and a tornado or two cannot be ruled
out.

The stalled front will also provide a threat of heavy rainfall from
Wednesday night into the upcoming weekend. Isolated instances of
urban or small-stream flooding are possible, and potentially strong
rises may be seen on area rivers. If the threat of flooding
increases, a Flood Watch may be needed for a portion of the area.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected through early
this evening. Several thunderstorms may become severe, especially
east of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The primary threat is damaging
wind gusts, though isolated large hail and a tornado or two are
possible as well.

Thunderstorms are likely to move west to east across the region
Wednesday evening and overnight. Some storms may be strong to severe
with all hazard types possible, including damaging winds, large hail,
and a few tornadoes.

Several rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall will impact the region
from late Wednesday through Saturday night. Confidence is increasing
in a elevated river flooding event, particularly along and west of
the I-77 corridor. The greatest flash flooding risk appears to be
Wednesday evening and overnight, generally along and west of the I-77
corridor.
