Missouri...
St. Francis River near Patterson.
.Recent heavy rainfall has caused a rapid rise on the St. Francis
River at Patterson. The river will crest just below moderate flood
stage this evening and then fall back below flood stage late tomorrow
evening. Additional heavy rainfall in the region tonight could lead
to a second, possibly higher crest this weekend.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
