Warning for the following rivers in Illinois...
Skillet Fork River at Wayne City.
.The first round of what will be many repeat rounds of heavy rain
heading into next weekend will be incoming soon. The heavy rain is
forecast to cause the Skillet Fork River to rise above flood stage
at Wayne City later this week.
For the Skillet Fork River...including Wayne City...Minor flooding
is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
