This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Western Arkansas...Far Eastern Oklahoma...and Northeast
           Oklahoma.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
Widely scattered thunderstorms are ongoing late this evening
across portions of western Arkansas southwestward into southeast
Oklahoma. Additional thunderstorms are occurring along a cold front
pushing southward toward northeast Oklahoma late this evening and
into early Thursday morning. Gusty winds and localized heavy rain
will be concerns with these storms.

Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
THURSDAY...Thunderstorm and Dangerous Heat Potential.
FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
TUESDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorm chances will continue Thursday in association with a
cold front mainly from northwest Arkansas to southeast Oklahoma.
Gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall are possible. Portions of
southeast Oklahoma and west central Arkansas will remain in the heat
and humidity, seeing heat indices between 100 and 105 degrees
Thursday afternoon.

Thunderstorm chances will persist Thursday night into Friday
morning from northeast Oklahoma to northwest Arkansas, shifting to
southeast Oklahoma and west central Arkansas Friday afternoon.
Storm chances linger Friday night into Saturday across southeast
Oklahoma and west central Arkansas. There are some indications in
the data that a complex of storms could affect the region Sunday
into Monday.

Organized severe weather is not expected with the storm activity,
but gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall are possible.

A ridge of high pressure aloft will become reestablished over the
region by Tuesday, bringing a return to hot, humid and dry
weather.

Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

  Marginal thunderstorm wind damage risk.
  Elevated lightning risk.
  Elevated excessive rainfall risk

DISCUSSION...

Scattered storms will continue through the evening. The stronger
storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts up to 60
mph, frequent lightning, small hail and torrential rainfall.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There is a 30 to 60% chance for thunderstorms on Thursday.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Scattered storms will move slowly move southeast through the evening
hours across south central and southeast Kansas. The stronger storms
will be capable of producing downburst winds to 60 mph, quarter size
hail, and locally heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Scattered storms will be possible Thursday and again for Saturday
night through Sunday night. While severe storms do not look likely,
a few of the stronger storms may produce strong downburst winds and
heavy rainfall.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible late this
afternoon into the overnight hours, mainly over the far southern
Texas Panhandle and northern South Plains. The threat for severe
storms is low, however, wind gusts to 50 mph, small hail, and perhaps
localized flooding are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thunderstorm chances increase  Thursday into Friday and then dwindle
Saturday. Highest chances are in the southern Panhandle and northern
South Plains. The main threats will be from lightning, strong wind
gusts and locally heavy rain.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Showers and thunderstorms remain possible through the overnight
hours across the majority of the combined Panhandles.At this time
primary concern remains on the chances for heavy to torrential
rainfall that could lead to flash floods. However, these is a low
chances present of storms strengthen enough to produce severe
hail and wind gusts, especially in the eastern Panhandles.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Chances of shower and thunderstorms remain present through the
weekend which could lead to more chances of localized flood across
the Panhandles. This will be followed by a warm up next week that
could see triple digit temperatures by Tuesday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
south central Kansas, southwest Kansas, and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A heat advisory is in effect for Barber county from 1pm until 7
pm today. Please refer to the latest TOPNPWDDC for the latest
information.

There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms after 3pm today
across extreme southwest Kansas. Main hazards will be wind gusts
up to 60 mph and locally heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Thunderstorms capable of producing locally heavy rainfall will be
possible on Thursday as an area of thunderstorms move from
southeast Colorado into extreme southwest Kansas.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible over the weekend. a few
of these storms may be strong or severe. Main hazards will be
large hail and strong gusty winds.
