This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited excessive heat risk.
Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.
DISCUSSION...
Breezy south to southwesterly winds will continue, but gradually
diminish, through tonight. Gusts up to around 20 to 25 mph may
occur at times, especially along and west of Highway 65.
Low temperatures in the lower to middle 70s tonight will provide
little relief from the hot and humid conditions of the day.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Heat index values in the middle 90s to around 103 degrees will
occur Monday through the middle of the week.
Isolated afternoon and early evening thunderstorms will be
possible across portions of the area each day week this coming
week.

A few locations will have heat indices between 100 and 103
degrees early this evening. South winds will continue to gust 25
to 35 mph before diminishing late this evening and overnight.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Daily isolated to scattered thunderstorms will return to the
forecast for much of next week, beginning on Tuesday mainly over
western AR into far eastern OK. A ridge of high pressure aloft is
expected to break down toward the end of next week, increasing the
chance for storms.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Strong to severe thunderstorms capable of producing large hail up
top around 1" in diameter and damaging wind gusts will be
possible mainly across western portions of the Panhandles this
afternoon and evening.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Thunderstorms will be possible Monday through Friday.
Thunderstorms on Monday could be severe with damaging wind gusts
being the main threat. Locally heavy rainfall will also be
possible mainly across the western Panhandles Monday and Tuesday.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time, however
spotters are asked to report any severe weather from their
locations.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.
Scattered thunderstorms are forecast to move into western portions
of the area late this afternoon and evening, mainly west of a line
from Tulia...to Littlefield...to Denver City. Some storms may be
severe, capable of producing damaging wind gusts up to 65 mph, in
addition to locally heavy rainfall.
Reductions in visibility from blowing dust can be expected on the
Caprock this afternoon and early evening.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Additional thunderstorm chances will continue each afternoon and
evening from Tuesday through Thursday, primarily to the west of the
I-27 corridor. The severe weather threat is low.

south central Kansas, southwest Kansas, and west central Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
There will be a slight risk for severe thunderstorms between 5 pm
and 9pm today west of a Hays to Liberal line. Main hazards will be
wind gusts of 60-70 mph and 1 inch hail.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday
Accumulating rainfall likely on Monday. Locally heavy rainfall
possible Monday afternoon and Monday night which may result in
water issues and localized flooding, especially north of a Garden
City to Dodge City line. A few of these storm on may may also be
capable of producing strong gusty winds and hail.
