...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Sulphur River Near Talco affecting Morris, Red River, Franklin
  and Titus Counties.

For the Sulphur River...including Talco...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.


The next statement will be issued Thursday afternoon at 100 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON UNTIL
FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sulphur River near Talco.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Expect moderate flooding of lowland areas
  with some secondary roadways closed. All cattle and equipment
  nearby the river should be moved to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 8.9 feet just after
    midnight tonight. It will then fall to 8.6 feet tomorrow
    evening. It will rise above flood stage Saturday afternoon to
    25.0 feet early Monday morning. It will then fall again but
    remain above flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White Oak Creek near Talco.

* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Expect minor lowland flooding of creek
  bottoms. Ranchers that may have cattle and equipment in the creek
  bottoms should move them to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 4.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Sunday afternoon and continue rising to 17.0 feet
    Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cowleech Fork Sabine River at Greenville.

* WHEN...From this evening to Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Moderate out of bank flooding will occur.
  A few rural roads closures will be needed along the river reach.
  Moderate flooding will occur along the river through Greenville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 16.7 feet tomorrow morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage early Friday morning.
