* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Clear Boggy Creek near Caney.

* WHEN...Until Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Creek levels rise to four feet higher than
  flood stage... spreading over many acres of bottomlands in western
  Atoka County... and the northeastern edge of Bryan County.
  Croplands... pastures... and some secondary rural roads are
  flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 29.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 26.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The Clear Boggy Creek is expected to rise to a
    crest of 29.9 feet this evening. It will then fall below
    flood stage early Saturday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

  Sulphur River Near Talco affecting Titus, Bowie, Red River,
  Morris and Franklin Counties.

For the Sulphur River...including Talco...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

  equipment in the river bottoms should move them to higher ground.

  - At 11:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 20.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:45 AM CDT Thursday was 20.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.5
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, low lying areas around Miami become cut
  off from easy access. Riverview Park experiences moderate
  flooding. State Highway 125 near the fairgrounds will be
  threatened.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 18.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to have two crests. The
    river will first crest this morning around 18.3 feet and then
    fall to near 18 feet this evening. The river will start
    rising again Friday morning to a second crest of 18.6 feet
    late Friday night through Saturday morning. It will then fall
    below flood stage late Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

  distance of 1 and one fourth miles. Several county roads, mainly
  along the left bank are inundated. Several residents which live
  along the right bank in the vicinity of Highway 400 may experience
  water entering their homes at basement levels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 24.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.3
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

* WHERE...Neosho River at Oswego.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Xavier Road leading north from the river
  gage bridge floods in that immediate vicinity. Also 13000 Road
  along the north side of the river bank floods. West of the town of
  Faulkner, homes along 120th Street between Star Road and Clem Road
  begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 19.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.9
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Walnut River at Arkansas City.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Considerable flooding of farmland is
  expected. Widespread flooding of the park just upstream of the
  gage site is anticipated. East Chestnut Avenue east of By-pass is
  closed due to water over roadway. Greens Farm Road floods between
  Highway 166 north to Dunbar Hill.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this afternoon to a crest of 19.5 feet tomorrow evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
