...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 AM CDT SUNDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Oklahoma, including
the following counties, in east central Oklahoma, Pontotoc. In
southeast Oklahoma, Atoka, Bryan, Coal, Hughes, Johnston and
Marshall.
* WHEN...Until 445 AM CDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1040 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen
in parts of the area.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Durant, Atoka, Tishomingo, Coalgate, Colbert, Caddo, Allen,
Bokchito, Achille, Stonewall, Wapanucka, Stringtown, Dustin,
Lehigh, Bennington, Silo, Tupelo, Milburn, Tushka and Calvin.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Flint Creek near Kansas.
* WHEN...Until Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Flint Creek threatens individual campsites
and becomes dangerous for recreational floating.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 7.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to continue falling Saturday
evening before beginning to rise again after sunrise Sunday.
The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.4 feet early
Monday morning.
- Action stage is 8.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
