...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON FRIDAY TO 6 AM EST
SATURDAY...
* WHAT...West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
* WHERE...Portions of northwest North Carolina, southwest and west
central Virginia, and southeast West Virginia.
* WHEN...From noon Friday to 6 AM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Limbs and trees weakened or partially downed
from the remnants of Hurricane Helene will be more susceptible
being brought down by these winds.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
