This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

There is a chance of thunderstorms through this evening. Chances
decrease overnight. Storms will likely stay near the shoreline.
The main hazards will be occasional cloud-to-water lightning,
torrential rainfall which will reduce visibility to less than 1
mile, wind gusts to 30 knots, locally higher waves, and hail up to
the size of pennies.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Additional chances for thunderstorms return from Monday afternoon
through Wednesday. The main hazards will be occasional cloud-to-
water lightning and small hail.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

There is a 30 to 60 percent chance of thunderstorms through this
evening with chances decreasing overnight. The greatest risk with
any storms will be occasional cloud-to-ground lightning, brief
torrential rainfall which may cause ponding of water on roads, and
hail up to the size of pennies.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Storm chances of 20 to 30 percent return Sunday afternoon
generally south of a line from Pine River to Hinckley, MN to
Hayward to Phillips, WI. There will be additional chances for
thunderstorms Monday through Wednesday. The greatest risk with any
storms will be occasional cloud-to-ground lightning, brief
torrential rainfall, and small hail.

rainfall amounts to the National Weather Service.

Wisconsin.

Thunderstorms are expected across northern Wisconsin through
early evening, with a slight chance of storms overnight across the
rest of the forecast area as a cold front moves through. Severe
weather is not anticipated, but locally heavy rainfall will be
possible with any storm.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Saturday

There will be a chance of thunderstorms at times from Sunday
afternoon through the middle of next week. The likelihood of
severe thunderstorms is low, but periods of locally heavy rainfall
may occur.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation should not be needed today and tonight, but any
reports of an inch or more of rainfall would be appreciated.

Michigan, north of Traverse City and north of Sturgeon Point.
Severe storms are not expected.

There are chances for thunderstorms in the middle part of next
week.

the interior of northern lower Michigan.

There are also chances for thunderstorms into the middle part of
next week.
