.Snow will continue across much of central and eastern Minnesota
into western Wisconsin through the early morning hours. Snow will
end across east central Minnesota prior to midnight, but will likely
persist in a narrow band through much of the night from portions of
southern Minnesota northeast towards Eau Claire. Total accumulations
around 2 to 3 inches are likely, except under that band that
continues into early Saturday morning where a few higher totals are
possible.

.Snow will arrive tonight and continue through Saturday evening.
Snow begins initially in northern Iowa with snow developing south
and east through morning. In southern Iowa, a wintry mix will occur
with some freezing rain and snow. Ice accumulations there may reach
up to around one tenth of an inch before changing to snow Saturday
afternoon. In central to northern Iowa, bands of heavier snow will
occur within a general snowfall of 2 to 4 inches. This will lead to
higher local snowfall, though uncertainty remains where the heavier
bands may occur. Light snow or flurries continue into Saturday
evening and overnight with blowing snow expected into Sunday morning
most areas.

light snow expected for the next few hours. Overall, most locations
have reported anywhere from 1 to 3 inches thus far. As we head
towards daybreak, more accumulating snow will develop across the
area with additional amounts of 1 to 4 inches near and south of
Interstate 90 and lesser amounts further north. Motorists will want
to check the weather conditions before heading out Saturday morning
and slow down when encountering snow covered roads.
