This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Light snow possible from central Minnesota to western Wisconsin
this afternoon through this evening. About an inch of snow is
expected.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
A strong clipper system is forecast to bring accumulating,
potentially heavy, snow to portions central and eastern Minnesota and
western Wisconsin Tuesday through Tuesday night. Currently, the
most likely place for heaviest snow is along and north of
Interstate 94 where a narrow band of 4 to 7 inches of snow is
possible. Winds will also become strong with gusts of 30 to 40 mph
possible.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Areas of freezing fog this morning will lead to rapid changes
in visibility and/or a few slick spots through late morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
A busy week is ahead with a risk of precipitation nearly every 1.5
days. Most of the precipitation events this will remain light, but
systems on Thursday and Friday will bear watching.
Stronger winds between Tuesday night into Wednesday could lead to
periods of blow/drifting snow.
A surge of arctic air over the weekend could lead to frigid wind
chills through Sunday morning.

and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Southwest winds will create hazardous conditions for small craft
on western Lake Superior today and tonight with gusts to 30 knots
and building waves.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
A Gale Watch is in effect for Tuesday evening through Wednesday
morning for the North Shore. Northerly winds gusting to 35 knots
and large waves to 7 feet will create dangerous conditions for
mariners. Heavy freezing spray is also possible Tuesday night
into Wednesday morning.

Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Winter Weather Advisories are in effect today and tonight for the
Arrowhead, including Cook, Lake, and Koochiching counties, as
well as portions of Itasca and St. Louis counties. Expect 1 to 3
inches of snow, except up to 5 inches along the North Shore. Roads
will be slippery for the evening commute.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
A stronger system arrives Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday
morning, bringing the potential for 4 to 6 inches of snow or more
to central Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. A Winter Storm
Watch is in effect for these areas. Arctic air follows late in the
week with dangerous wind chills possible.
