1149 AM CDT Sun Mar 30 2025
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
Any remaining rain or freezing rain will change to wet snow,
continuing as snow through late afternoon then ending early this
evening. Generally, up to an inch of snow accumulation can be
expected with little to no additional ice accumulation.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
A period of prolonged wet snow, producing accumulating snow
amounts, looks likely Tuesday into Wednesday. The greatest risk
for at least 6 inches of snow Tuesday night through Wednesday
exists across central Minnesota. For southern Minnesota into
western Wisconsin, a mix of rain and snow can be expected which
will limit snow accumulation potential.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotters and snowfall observers are encouraged to report snowfall
amounts to the National Weather Service.
