This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Florida.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
.RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT...
A moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents exists at all
central Florida Atlantic beaches today. In addition, a strong,
southward-flowing longshore current will be present. Always swim
near a lifeguard and never enter the water alone.
.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
Hazardous boating conditions will develop through the day as
northwest winds increase to 15 to 25 knots. Seas are forecast to
build, reaching 4 to 7 feet nearshore and 5 to 8 feet offshore. A
Small Craft Advisory is in effect for the local waters out to 60
nautical miles.
.FIRE WEATHER IMPACT...
Breezy to gusty northwest winds will combine with low relative
humidity to produce fire sensitive conditions today, especially
along and north of Interstate 4.
.RIVER FLOOD IMPACT...
The Saint Johns River near Astor is forecast to briefly climb to
near Moderate Flood Stage as northerly winds increase. Residents
and interests along the river should continue to expect prolonged
flood impacts.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
At least a moderate risk of rip currents is expected at the
central Florida Atlantic beaches from Friday into the weekend.
Boating conditions will remain hazardous on Friday before
gradually improving Friday night and Saturday.
Cooler air is forecast to remain over east central Florida into
the weekend. Minimum wind chill values in the mid 30s to mid 40s
are expected Friday and Saturday morning.
Sensitive fire weather conditions are forecast to persist into the
weekend. Low relative humidity and breezy conditions Friday will
produce an increased fire danger.
Residents and interests along the Saint Johns River near Astor
will continue to experience minor to moderate flood impacts for
the foreseeable future.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Rip Currents: There is a high risk of rip currents for the Gulf
beaches, and a moderate risk for the Palm Beaches.
Marine: Hazardous marine conditions across the Atlantic and Gulf
waters with elevated winds and seas.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
An elevated rip current risk will continue Friday along the Gulf and
Palm Beaches.
Cautionary to hazardous marine conditions continue across the local
waters on Friday.
Low temperatures are expected to fall into the 40s through the
weekend around the lake region and portions of interior South
Florida.
