This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Florida.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
A band of showers and embedded storms associated with a cold front
will push offshore the Martin coast before sunrise and then across
the adjacent Atlantic Treasure coast waters through mid morning.
There is a chance for strong wind gusts with these storms and
even a brief tornado or waterspout cannot be ruled out.
.HIGH WIND IMPACT...
Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph will gust around 30 mph behind a cold
front.
.RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT...
A moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents exists at all
central Florida Atlantic beaches. Always swim near a lifeguard
and never enter the water alone.
.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for all the adjacent Atlantic
waters for Northwest winds near 20 knots nearshore and 20 to 25
knots offshore with higher gusts. Seas will build 7 to 8 feet in
the Gulf Stream.
.FIRE WEATHER IMPACT...
A high fire danger exists today across all of east central FLorida
due to gusty northwest winds and low relative humidity.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
At least a moderate risk of rip currents will exist at Atlantic
beaches this week.
Boating conditions will remain poor to hazardous this week,
especially offshore.
Low humidity will produce fire weather sensitive conditions this
week.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
