A Gale Warning is in effect for the northern half of the open
waters due to gusty south to southwest winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Monday

Winds may reach gale force again Tuesday night into Wednesday. A
Gale Watch is in effect for the southern half of the open waters.

Additional gales may occur Friday into Saturday. Freezing spray
may develop with these late week gales.

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for gusty south to southwest
winds and building waves.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Monday

The Small Craft Advisory continues through Tuesday morning.

Additional rounds of gusty winds and high waves will be possible
Tuesday night into Wednesday again again late week into the
weekend.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of east central
Wisconsin, south central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Light snow is expected tonight, transitioning to patchy freezing
drizzle into early Tuesday morning. Snow accumulations of a trace
to half an inch are possible for most areas, with up to an inch
possible towards east central Wisconsin. The freezing drizzle may
cause a thin glaze of ice as well.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Monday

Freezing drizzle may continue through the Tuesday morning commute
before ending.

A wintry mix is expected to develop Tuesday evening, with slick
spots on area roads possible due to continued cold pavement
temperatures. Wintry mix will transition to light snow into
Wednesday. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for portions of
central and east central Wisconsin, and may be extended further
south depending on the exact system track.

Additional rounds of snowfall are then possible through the end of
the work week, but confidence in timing is much lower.

An arctic airmass is expected this upcoming weekend, with wind
chills as cold as -15 to -25 for the overnight and early morning
hours.

Gale force gusts are expected late tonight on Lake Michigan south
of Sturgeon Bay. A Gale Warning has been issued.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Gale force gusts are expected Wednesday morning on Lake Michigan
to the south of Sturgeon Bay.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Light snow will taper off to freezing drizzle early this morning.
Slippery travel is possible for the morning commute.

Snow will return region-wide early this evening as a strong
clipper system approaches western Wisconsin. The snow could fall
heavy at times late this evening through the overnight hours,
before diminishing late tonight. Snowfall totals by late tonight
of 2 to 7 inches are expected. The heaviest snow is expected over
central WI, where snowfall rates could exceed 1" per hour this
evening into the overnight hours. The snow will impact the evening
commute over central and north-central WI.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Snow will steadily diminish from west to east on Wednesday morning.
Travel could remain difficult during the morning in some areas due
to the heavier snow that occurs overnight.

Wind chills could drop to 10 below to 30 below zero Friday night
into Saturday morning, and again Saturday night into Sunday
morning.

Spotters are requested to forward snowfall measurements to the
National Weather Service in Green Bay this week.

Light snow will move into the area tonight bringing accumulations
of up to 1 inch.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Impactful accumulating snow will move into the area Tuesday
afternoon and continue through Tuesday night. A Winter Storm Watch
is in effect for the potential of up to 6 inches of snow
accumulations.
