MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches.
  Winds occasionally gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Carteret, southern Craven, Pamlico, Tyrrell, and Hyde and
  Dare counties including the Outer Banks.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST this morning.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
  morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
