...EXTREME HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM SATURDAY TO 8 PM
PDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures of 100 to
  105 expected, except up to 110 in the valleys of western Siskiyou
  County. Low temperatures will be mainly in the mid to upper 60s.

* WHERE...In California, Central Siskiyou County and Western
  Siskiyou County. In Oregon, Eastern Curry County and Josephine
  County and Jackson County. This includes Medford, Ashland, Grants
  Pass, Cave Junction, Happy Camp, Fort Jones, and Yreka.

* WHEN...From 2 PM Saturday to 8 PM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will likely only be a couple to
  a few degrees cooler on Tuesday and Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight lows around 60 will provide some
  relief in the valleys, but higher terrain may see lows remain in
  the 70s.

  extreme heat events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight lows around 60 will provide some
  relief in the valleys, but higher terrain may see lows remain in
  the 70s.
