This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of northern...
western...central...and southern Oklahoma...and western north
Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...

.Thunderstorms...
Thunderstorms will be possible in multiple rounds today. They will
be likeliest this morning across northern and western Oklahoma,
this afternoon across central Oklahoma, and tonight across
northern Oklahoma. Storms this afternoon, evening, and tonight
will have the potential for severe weather, including wind gusts
up to 70 mph, as well as heavy rainfall.

.Heat...
Air temperatures in excess of 105 will be possible in parts of
western north Texas and southwest Oklahoma. Heat indices across
much of the area will be between 105 and 110 this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday...

.Thunderstorms...
Thunderstorms will be possible at times throughout the upcoming
week. The likeliest windows will be Wednesday through Thursday
morning across southern Oklahoma and western north Texas, and then
again on Saturday across much of the area.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A Heat Advisory remains in effect today from 1 PM until 7 PM for
Briscoe, Hall, Childress, and Cottle counties for high temperatures
up to 106 degrees.

A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon through tonight,
mainly over the far southern Texas Panhandle and northern South
Plains and northern Rolling Plains. Severe storms are unlikely.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Daily chances for thunderstorms will continue through Monday. Some
of the stronger storms may produce severe wind gusts with a lesser
chance of severe hail. Severe weather coverage, if any, is expected
to be quite limited. Some storms may also be capable of producing
heavy rainfall.
