...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LITTLE RIVER...
BOWIE...HEMPSTEAD...HOWARD...MILLER...SEVIER...MCCURTAIN...NORTHERN
MORRIS...TITUS...NORTHERN CASS...SOUTHEASTERN RED RIVER AND EAST
CENTRAL FRANKLIN COUNTIES UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1051 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms extending from 11 miles northwest of Gillham to over
Cookville, or extending from 16 miles northwest of De Queen to 8
miles east of Mount Pleasant, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

The strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Winthrop, Foreman, Us 259 And I 30 Intersection, Cookville, Dalby
  Springs, De Kalb and Arkinda around 1055 PM CDT.
  De Queen, Horatio, Omaha, New Boston, Naples, Gillham and Rocky
  Branch around 1100 PM CDT.
  Richmond, Lockesburg and Wilton around 1110 PM CDT.
  Ashdown and Hooks around 1115 PM CDT.
  Ben Lomond around 1120 PM CDT.
  Maud, Athens and Dierks around 1125 PM CDT.
  Red Lick, Ogden, Redwater, Umpire and Texarkana around 1130 PM CDT.
  Mineral Springs, Nash, Saratoga, Tollette and Center Point around
  1135 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these strong thunderstorms include
Wallace, West Otis, West Line, Cerrogordo, Shinewell, Arden, Spring
Hill, Central, Geneva and Red Bank.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
