...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Oklahoma, including
  the following counties, in east central Oklahoma, Muskogee. In
  northeast Oklahoma, Creek, Mayes, Okmulgee, Rogers, Tulsa and
  Wagoner.

* WHEN...Until 1230 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1028 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen overnight.
  - Additional rainfall amounts around 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area through early afternoon. This additional rain
    will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Flint Creek near Kansas.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Flint Creek threatens individual campsites
  and becomes dangerous for recreational floating.
  At 11.0 feet, minor flooding occurs from Fidlers Bend to Chewey
  Bridge. Permanent campgrounds and farmlands are affected.
  Turbulence makes the river unsafe for floating.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 9.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall briefly this morning
    and then rise again to around 9.6 feet this afternoon, which
    is below below flood stage. Interests along the creek should
    remain alert in case additional water upstream results in
    higher river levels than currently expected.
  - Action stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
