This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Numerous thunderstorms are expected through this evening. Several
of these thunderstorms may become severe. The primary threat is
damaging wind gusts, though isolated large hail and a tornado or
two are possible as well. An isolated instance of flash flooding
could occur if repeated heavy rain falls over urban areas.

Special Marine Warnings are possible over the waters as well.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected through early
this evening. Several thunderstorms may become severe, especially
east of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The primary threat is damaging
wind gusts, though isolated large hail and a tornado or two are
possible as well.

Damaging wind gusts are the primary threat, but large hail and an
isolated tornado cannot be completely ruled out.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for western Pennsylvania and
northern West Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A cold front will approach the Ohio Valley Wednesday night, and could
stall in or near the region into the weekend. Severe thunderstorms
are possible both Wednesday and Thursday. Damaging wind would be the
primary threat, although hail and a tornado or two cannot be ruled
out.

The stalled front will also provide a threat of heavy rainfall from
Wednesday night into the upcoming weekend. Isolated instances of
urban or small-stream flooding are possible, and potentially strong
rises may be seen on area rivers. If the threat of flooding
increases, a Flood Watch may be needed for a portion of the area.
