following rivers in West Virginia...Maryland...Virginia...

  South Branch Potomac River near Springfield affecting Hardy and
  Hampshire Counties.

  Potomac River at Point of Rocks affecting Western Loudoun and
  Frederick MD zones.

  Potomac River at Edwards Ferry affecting Western Loudoun, Eastern
  Loudoun and Northwest Montgomery zones.

  Potomac River at Harpers Ferry affecting Jefferson and Washington
  Counties.

  Shenandoah River at Millville affecting Jefferson, Warren and
  Clarke Counties.

For the South Branch Potomac River...including Franklin, Moorefield
- SF, Petersburg, Springfield...flooding is possible.
For the Potomac River...including Paw Paw, Hancock, Shepherdstown,
Harpers Ferry, Point of Rocks, Edwards Ferry, Little Falls...
flooding is possible.
For the Shenandoah River...including Millville...flooding is
possible.

EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding is possible.

* WHERE...Potomac River at Little Falls.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning to Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Water covers the towpath between Swains
  Lock and Pennyfield Lock, mileposts 17 to 19 on the C&O Canal.
  At 11.5 feet, Water covers the towpath in multiple spots between
  the Washington Aqueduct Dam and Pennyfield Lock, mileposts 15 to
  19 on the C&O Canal.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:45 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 4.7 feet, or 5.3 feet
    below flood stage.
  - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached late tomorrow morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

    below flood stage.
