* WHAT...Excessive rainfall which has fallen over the past several
  hours is expected to result in flooding near Buffalo Springs Lake.

* WHERE...Double Mountain Fork Brazos near Lubbock 4ESE.

* WHEN...From this morning to this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Flooding over FM-835 just west of Buffalo
  Spings will likely require closure of the highway. Flooding of
  loop road around west end of Buffalo Springs Lake also likely. The
  onset of flooding at FM-835 may be delayed by 4 to 6 hours after
  the river gauge at Southeast Loop 289 exceeds 11 feet or about
  1000 CFS.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CST Friday the stage was 8.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    8.6 feet on 06/04/2020.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...Portions of Montague County.

* WHEN...Until 1130 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is ongoing. Numerous roads remain closed
  due to flooding. It will take several hours for high water from
  the overnight storms to subside.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - emergency management reported ongoing flooding from heavy
    rain overnight in the warned area. Flooding is already
    occurring. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Bowie, Nocona, Sunset, Lake Amon G Carter, Montague,
    Fruitland, Mallard, Stoneburg and Bonita.

  Sahara State Park near Waynoka... to near Orienta in Major County.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:30 AM CST Friday the stage was 5.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this evening
    to 8.1 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall
    below flood stage late tonight to 7.5 feet early tomorrow
    afternoon. It will rise to 7.7 feet tomorrow evening. It will
    then fall to 7.0 feet early Sunday afternoon.
