West-Central and Southwest Los Angeles County in southwestern
California...
This includes the Palisades Burn Scar.
* Until 600 AM PST.
* At 219 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is
0.4 to 0.8 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding, along with rock slides and mudslides,
caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Rock slides
and mudslides.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
Eastern Malibu, Encino, Van Nuys, Northridge, Woodland Hills,
Santa Monica, North Hollywood, Chatsworth, Universal City,
Burbank, Griffith Park, Interstate 405 through the Sepulveda Pass,
Brentwood, Bel Air, Sherman Oaks, Pacific Palisades, Canoga Park,
Topanga State Park and Studio City.

couple of hours. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
