This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Gusty winds will continue this afternoon and evening before
diminishing tonight.

Scattered snow showers are possible this evening and tonight,
especially east of Interstate 65. A coating of snowfall is possible
in any heavier snow showers, which could lead to patchy slick spots
Thursday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Another chance for accumulating snow will be possible Saturday night
through Sunday morning over northern Kentucky and southern Indiana.
This may bring impacts to travel on Sunday morning.

into Friday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Light snow is forecast this evening and overnight across parts of
southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, and western Kentucky. Light
accumulations are possible, generally increasing as you move
northeast and a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for parts of
southwest Indiana.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A brief period of dangerously cold conditions can be expected
Saturday night into Sunday. Wind chills Saturday night are
expected to be near or slightly below zero with overnight lows in
the single digits possible Saturday and Sunday night. Highs Sunday
will struggle to break into the mid 20s.

A northwest flow snowfall event is underway, expected to bring
accumulating snow to parts of the Southern Appalachians and
southwest Virginia through about mid-day today. See the Winter
Weather Advisory for more information about the higher elevation
snow accumulations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

An Arctic cold snap following another cold front later Sunday
into early Monday, may bring overnight lows in the teens to
single digits. Very cold wind chills will also be possible,
especially across the highest elevations.

Rain showers switch to snow this evening and continue overnight.
Accumulations will be minimal for most areas, generally one half inch
or less. However, localized heavier snow showers cannot be ruled
out, perhaps dropping a quick inch or two in a few locations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Snow showers taper off on Thursday morning, with additional minor
accumulations possible.

1 to 3 inches of accumulating snow is on track for Thursday night
into Friday morning.

Another storm system could bring yet another round of light snow
accumulations Saturday night.

Scattered snow showers will impact northeast parts of central Indiana
this evening with localized light accumulations and reduced
visibilities in the heaviest snow showers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Accumulating snow is likely Thursday evening through Friday morning.
Refer to the Special Weather Statement for more information on the
snowfall threat.

Additional snowfall is possible on Saturday with accumulations
possible.

Some of the coldest conditions of the season expected this weekend
with low temperatures approaching zero degrees or lower and wind
chill values potentially down to -20 degrees.
