SATURDAY ABOVE 7000 FEET...
* WHAT...Heavy snow. Snow accumulations between 1 to 2 feet above
7,000 feet with 2 to 6 inches below 7,000 feet. Ridge winds
gusting as high as 75 mph.
* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area, and Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern
Sierra Counties.
* WHEN...From 10 AM Friday to 10 PM PST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. Very
strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for

* WHERE...Burney Basin / Eastern Shasta County, West Slope Northern
Sierra Nevada, and Western Plumas County/Lassen Park Counties.
* WHEN...Until 4 AM PST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Slick travel conditions expected, with snow covered
roads and chain controls likely. Gusty winds could bring down tree
branches.
