...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected.

* WHERE...In Louisiana, Southern Calcasieu Parish. In Texas,
  Southern Orange County.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
  isolated road closures expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tide levels are expected to peak between
  1.0 and 1.5 feet MHHW around time of high tide this evening
  through early Tuesday morning.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents
  on Gulf-facing beaches. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor
  coastal flooding expected.

* WHERE...Peninsulas and Barrier Islands along the Upper Texas
  Gulf Coast.

* WHEN...For the High Rip Current Risk, through Tuesday
  afternoon. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 6 AM CST
  Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
  isolated road closures expected. Rip currents can sweep even
  the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

Swim near a lifeguard and away from rocks, jetties, and piers. If
caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the
current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If
unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
