...Slick Spots Possible Through the Late Night...

A brief period of sleet and freezing rain will be possible as the
precipitation first moves into the area tonight. This could lead
to areas of slick spots in sheltered hollows and on elevated
surfaces through the early morning hours of Tuesday. With time,
any icy conditions will become just wet as temperatures rise
above freezing during the late night hours.

...Isolated slick spots possible into Tuesday morning...

A mix of rain, some freezing rain, and snow overnight will
briefly change over to snow before ending in the morning. At this
time, any accumulations of snow and ice are not expected to
generate widespread significant impacts, but isolated slick spots
in sheltered hollows and on elevated surfaces are possible.

Travelers should be vigilant and use caution if encountering any
winter weather conditions through Tuesday morning.

...Watch For Icy Spots Early Tuesday Morning...

A brief period of freezing rain is expected to impact the area
early Tuesday morning. With temperatures currently in the upper
20s and the lower 30s, icy spots can be expected, especially on
bridges, overpasses, and elevated surfaces. This could impact
Tuesday morning`s commute. Eventually, freezing rain will
transition to all rain as surface temperatures warm above
freezing.
