This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Snow will end from northwest to southeast through mid-morning. Snow
may mix with or change over to rain before ending. Snow will linger
longest over the high terrain along and near the Virginia border. See
the Winter Weather Advisory statement for further details.
Additional snow is expected later this afternoon into Saturday
morning along the highest elevations of Letcher and Harlan Counties,
with greatest impact in the Black Mountain area.

Wind gusts between 20-30 mph are expected today and tonight.
In higher elevations, gusts could approach 40 mph at times.
Single digit wind chills are expected for high elevations of the
East Tennessee mountains this morning.

Tennessee mountains and southwest Virginia today through tonight.
