.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Scattered showers and a few storms are possible this evening into
tonight. Winds gusts between 40 and 50 MPH will be possible within
these showers and storms. Lightning is also a threat with any storm.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible Saturday afternoon across far
southern sections of central Indiana. Severe storms are not expected.
There are additional thunderstorm chances by the middle of next
week.

evening with lightning strikes and locally gusty winds being the
main hazards through midnight CDT.

Smoke from Canadian wildfires has spread into the Midwest, with some
of it being drawn to the surface. This will result in deteriorating
air quality, which may impact some people that are unusually
sensitive to air pollution.
Isolated storms are possible through this evening, across far
northeast parts of central IL. An isolated strong wind gust is
possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected Tuesday night through Thursday
of next week, though the severe weather threat is uncertain at this
time.

A few thunderstorms will impact parts of southwest Indiana and
locations southeast into the Kentucky Pennyrile through the
afternoon.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible Saturday afternoon in the
Evansville Tri-State. Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms are
again forecast Sunday afternoon across southeast Missouri into
western Kentucky.
Daily thunderstorm chances return to the entire region next
Wednesday. While it is too early to determine the risk of severe
thunderstorms, periods of heavy rain from thunderstorms are likely.
