This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will continue today, with
scattered thunderstorms continuing tonight.
Late this afternoon into this evening, isolated strong to severe
storms are possible, with damaging winds the primary threat.
Otherwise, heavy rain and lightning will be the main threats from
storms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Thunderstorms are possible most days.
Lightning and locally heavy rain will be the primary threats with
the storms.
Heat indices over 100 degrees may become common next Tuesday
afternoon.

and central Kentucky.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be seen across the region
this morning and again this afternoon and evening. Torrential
rainfall, gusty winds, and cloud to ground lightning will be the main
threats with the strongest storms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected through the upcoming
period. Thunderstorms will be capable of producing torrential
rainfall, gusty winds, and lightning. Localized flooding will be
possible in some areas, especially across southern Indiana and into
northern Kentucky.

Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
A small increase in humidity is expected to result in hotter
feeling conditions today compared to the last few days. Heat
index values of 103 to 107 are forecast this afternoon and a heat
advisory is in effect for parts of the area.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening.
Isolated strong to severe storms are possible with wind the main
threat, all storms will also be capable of brief torrential
rainfall.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected through Tuesday.
Isolated strong to severe storms are possible with a slightly
higher risk on Thursday. All storms will be capable of brief
torrential rainfall. There is a slightly higher risk of flash
flooding across parts of southern Illinois and southwest Indiana
Thursday evening.
Afternoon heat index values over 100 degrees are expected through
Sunday. Heat index values may exceed 105 degrees on Thursday
area-wide.

Michigan and northwest Ohio.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Periodic chances of showers and thunderstorms are expected for much
of this period. Greatest potential of storms will be Wednesday night
into Thursday, and then again on Saturday and Sunday. There is a
Marginal Risk of severe storms for Wednesday night, mainly for a
threat of strong wind gusts. Some locally heavy rainfall is possible
with any of the thunderstorms.
Dangerous swimming conditions are possible Thursday afternoon into
early Friday across southeast Lake Michigan beaches. North winds are
expected to develop behind a cold front leading to building waves.

central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west central Illinois.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will occur through this evening.
Cloud to ground lightning, locally heavy rain and gusty winds will
be the main risks from this activity.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Hot and humid conditions will push heat index values of 97 to 102
degrees Wednesday afternoon.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected Wednesday afternoon through
Friday afternoon, and again Saturday through Sunday. There is a
level 1 of 5 (marginal) risk for severe weather from mid Wednesday
afternoon into mid Wednesday evening north of I-70. The main risk
will be from damaging straight line winds, though frequent cloud to
ground lightning strikes and heavy rain are also expected.
