This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

A band of light snow will overspread portions of central Illinois
during mid to late afternoon and evening. Any snow accumulations
will be very minor, from a dusting to less than 1 inch. Snow will
transitions to light freezing rain along and north of I-72 to Paris
during mid evening into early overnight and continue into early
Saturday morning. Icy conditions are expected overnight into mid
Saturday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Rain will transition back to snow during late Saturday afternoon and
evening and continue into early Sunday morning. Minor accumulations
are possible.

A bitterly cold air mass will overspread much of central Illinois
next week. Wind chill values of zero to 10 or 20 below will be
possible each morning Monday through Thursday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Wind chills of 10 to 20 below zero are expected early this morning
mainly north of Interstate 80.

Gusty southeast winds between 25 to 35 mph may lead to periods of
shallow blowing snow and significant drifting in open and rural
areas this afternoon and evening, especially west and north of the
Quad Cities.

For late this afternoon into early tonight, a quick-hitting
accumulating snow is expected, mainly north of I-80. A Winter
Weather Advisory has been issued for counties along the Highway
20 corridor, from Dubuque and points to the east. This area has
the highest chances for receiving a quick 1 to 3 inches of snow,
that will be accompanied by gusty southeast winds around 30 mph
and reduced visibilities to under a half mile.

Late tonight into early Saturday morning, locations along and
south of Interstate 80 may have a period of freezing drizzle
leading to a thin glaze of ice.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

More mixed precipitation and snow is expected Saturday and
Saturday night possibly lingering into Sunday morning, with
some accumulations probable.

Colder air will expand into the region Sunday night and persist
into at least the middle of next week. Wind chills of 15 to 30
below zero are currently favored for some nighttime and morning
periods within that time.

Snowfall reports of 1 inch or more would be appreciated this
evening and tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited Excessive Cold Risk this morning.
  Limited Snow Risk this evening and overnight.
  Limited Ice Accumulation Risk late tonight.

DISCUSSION...

A burst of accumulating snow is expected this evening, especially
for areas near and north of I-88 where up to 1 to 3 inches of snow
may fall within a short period. This combined with gusty winds
could result in sharply reduced visibility and hazardous travel.

An additional period of accumulating snow may redevelop across
parts of the area late tonight and may mix with or change over to
freezing rain and drizzle, especially south of a Pontiac, IL to
Rensselaer, IN line.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

  Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
  Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A wintry mix of precipitation, including rain, freezing rain,
sleet, and snow, is possible on Saturday, though confidence in
snow, sleet, and icing amounts remains low. Snow showers may then
persist into Sunday.

Bitterly cold temperatures are expected much of next week, with
dangerous wind chills of 20 to 30 below zero possible during the
early morning hours of Monday and Tuesday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern Indiana, southwest
Michigan and northwest Ohio.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A mix of snow, freezing rain, and rain arrives tonight into
Saturday morning. Along US 6, around 2 inches of snow is possible
and north of I-80/I-90, 2 to 4 inches of snow will be possible
through early Sunday afternoon. A glaze to a few hundtreths of an
inch of ice may accumulate area-wide, but the best chances will be
along and south of US 24. Slick roads are possible, especially in
areas that see more snow and/or ice accumulations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Snow (heavy at times) is possible in northwest Indiana and
southwest Lower Michigan Saturday night into Sunday morning, while a
mix of snow, freezing rain, and rain will be possible elsewhere
across the area.

Much colder air arrives Sunday night into Monday. Lows on Monday
morning will be in the single digits and highs will only be in the
mid teens. When combined with wind gusts up to 20 mph, winds chills
may be as cold as -5 to -15 degrees throughout Monday.

Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Flood Watch is in effect for much of the area tonight through
Saturday night. Excessive rainfall amounts are forecast which may
lead to significant flooding impacts. Refer to the Flood Watch
product for more specific details.

Minor river flooding is occurring on portions of the Green and
Ohio Rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A Flood Watch is in effect for much of the area tonight through
Saturday night. Excessive rainfall amounts are forecast which may
lead to significant flooding impacts. Refer to the Flood Watch
product for more specific details. There is also a marginal risk
for severe thunderstorms across parts of west Kentucky Saturday
afternoon and evening, with damaging winds or a tornado possible.

River flooding is expected to continue and likely worsen along
portions of the Green and Ohio Rivers this weekend into next week.

Bitterly cold air is forecast for the majority of next week with
wind chills dropping into the single digits or teens beginning on
Sunday, and possibly below zero for some areas next week. There
remains a potential for accumulating snow Tuesday into Wednesday
next week.

Spotter activation is possible Saturday afternoon and evening for
parts of west Kentucky. Any rainfall amounts or flooding reports

This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Scattered light snow and sleet is possible this evening...with
freezing rain becoming the primary precipitation type late tonight.
Ice accumulations up to a tenth of an inch are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Any mixed precipitation will change to all rain on Saturday morning.
Rain may be heavy at times Saturday and Saturday night...especially
south of I-70. Rain is expected to end as a period of snow late
Saturday night into early Sunday with scattered snow showers
continuing throughout the day. Additional chances for light snow are
expected Tuesday night through Wednesday night.

Temperatures Sunday night and early Monday may fall to near zero
degrees...with wind chills possibly as low as negative 15 degrees.
Bitterly cold temperatures will persist for much of next week with
subzero wind chills at times.

   Flood Watch.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A Flood Watch continues for early Saturday through midday Sunday. A
large storm system is expected to drench the region early Saturday
through Sunday. Forecast amounts range 2 to 5" of rain across
southern IN and central KY. This rain will likely lead to areal and
river flooding, as well as isolated flash flooding.

Temperatures fall into the teens Sunday night, so lingering wet
spots may freeze. Black ice may be a concern for the Monday morning
commute.

Light snow accumulations will be possible Tuesday-Wednesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters will be needed to report heavy rainfall and flooding this
weekend.
