White River below Eagle Valley Power Plant.
White River at Muncie.
.Recent periods of heavy rainfall have led to moderate to major
flooding along the White and Tippecanoe River. The flooding threat
will persist over the weekend into early next week in some areas.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHERE...Tippecanoe River near Delphi.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Low agricultural lands, river parks and a
few local roads flood along the Tippecanoe River. Oakdale Public
Access Site flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 8.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 5:45 AM EDT Thursday was 9.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight and continue falling and remain
below flood stage.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
