...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...

  East Fork White River at Seymour.

.Heavy rainfall from earlier this week brought minor lowland
flooding to the East Fork White at Seymour by Wednesday morning. The
crest is expected at Seymour Wednesday overnight into the day on
Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement should be issued Thursday afternoon by around 130
PM EDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE SATURDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 15.6 feet, Jackson County Sheriff reported following
  roads closed when the river experienced a minor rise after the
  Great June 2008 flood:  SR 235 east of Medora to Covered Bridge,
  CR 300N east of Honeytown to Shieldstown, CR 225W between CR 300N
  and Slab Road River Bridge, CR 410W from US 50 to Vallonia,
  Newford Road, west from Vehslage Road to the 5000 block east, CR
  400E from Newford Road south to Shieldstown, CR 150 E from CR
  3000N to CR 4000N, CR 100E from CR 3000N to CR 4000N and CR 700E
  by CR 800N.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 15.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 PM EDT Wednesday was 15.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.8
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage late Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
