...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN BRUNSWICK COUNTY
THROUGH 330 PM EDT...

At 303 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Boiling Spring Lakes
to Ocean Isle Beach. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 to 45 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oak Island, Holden Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Caswell Beach, Bald Head
Island, Ocean Crest Pier, Boiling Spring Lakes, St. James, Southport,
Civie Town, Varnamtown, and Dosher Memorial Hospital.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southeastern North Carolina.

thunderstorms extending from 10 miles north of Eastern Lake Marion to
12 miles north of Harleyville, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
  Saint Stephen, Eadytown, Northern Lake Moultrie, Cross, Eastern
  Lake Marion, Bonneau Beach, Cross Cross Roads, Pineville, Judge
  Town and Prioleau.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Boaters on Lake Moultrie and the eastern portions of Lake Marion
should seek safe harbor immediately. If caught on the open water,
stay as low as possible and wear a personal flotation device.
Remember, if you can hear thunder you are at risk for being struck by
lightning.

east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Holly Hill, Summerton, Santee Cooper Regional Airport, Santee,
Eutawville, Vance, St. Paul, Rocks Pond Campground and Marina,
Foreston, Eautaw Springs, Indian Bluff Recreation Park, Davis
Station, Blounts Landing, and Mill Creek Marina and Campground.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 26 near mile marker 169.
 Interstate 95 between mile markers 86 and 115.
