There is a marginal (level 1 out of 5) risk for severe thunderstorms
for this afternoon and evening across the southern half of Central
Alabama. The main threats will be damaging winds and hail.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
There is a slight to enhanced (level 2 to 3 out of 5) risk of severe
thunderstorms on Tuesday for the northern and western counties of
Central Alabama. The main threats will be damaging winds and hail.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed
this afternoon and evening and again on Tuesday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms may develop across portions
of central Georgia this afternoon and evening. A few storms could
become strong to severe, capable of producing damaging wind gusts
and hail.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday...
Periods of thunderstorms are expected between Sunday and
Wednesday, with the greatest storm coverage anticipated across
north Georgia. A few storms could be strong to severe during the
daytime on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged
to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to
weather.gov/atlanta. Please relay any information about observed
severe weather to the NWS while following all local, state, and
CDC guidelines.
