Duck River Near Hurricane Mills affecting Humphreys County.
For the Duck River...including Manchester, Shelbyville, Pottsville,
Milltown, Columbia, Centerville, Hurricane Mills...Minor flooding is
forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Duck River near Hurricane Mills.
* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Portions of Tumbling Creek Road east of
Highway 13 are flooded to a depth of 2 feet and may be impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 20.3 feet and rising.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 6:00 PM CDT Friday was 21.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 20.4 feet this evening. It
will then fall below flood stage this evening to 15.2 feet
tomorrow evening. It will rise above flood stage late Sunday
morning to 23.0 feet early Monday morning. It will then fall
below flood stage again Monday evening.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Buffalo River near Lobelville.
* WHEN...Until late Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Flooding continues to impact agricultural
land and properties along the river including Dailey Loop,
Caruthers Trace Lane, Lost Creek Rd near Gilmer Bridge Rd, and
portions of the Buffalo River Country Club. Water covers Old State
Hwy 13 south of School House Rd and Gilmer Bridge Rd Lost Creek
Rd which are impassable. Water begins to impact waterfront
properties off E 8th Ave in Leeper Bottom and approaches Cuba
Landing Rd and Squeeze Bottom Rd.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 12.9 feet and falling.
- Forecast...The river will fall to 9.2 feet early tomorrow
afternoon. It will then rise above flood stage early Sunday
morning to 15.6 feet early Sunday afternoon. It will continue
to rise to 16.5 feet early Tuesday morning. It will fall
below flood stage Tuesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Cropland flooding is very extensive and
water begins to cover County Road 46. County Road 47 has 1 to 2
feet of water over the unpaved portions. Evacuations become
necessary due to access problems.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 12.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Sunday morning to a crest of 27.5 feet Sunday evening.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
