San Luis Obispo County Beaches-
Santa Barbara County Central Coast Beaches-
748 AM PST Fri Nov 7 2025

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON...
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 10
to 15 feet and dangerous rip currents. For the Coastal Flood
  Advisory, moderate coastal flooding possible.

* WHERE...San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara County
Central Coast Beaches. Highest across northwest facing beaches.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 2 PM PST this
afternoon. For the High Surf Advisory, until 9 PM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of sea water is likely, around the time of
high tide, over vulnerable low-lying coastal areas such as
parking lots, beaches, and walkways. Significant damage to
roads or structures is unlikely. There is an increased risk
for ocean drowning. Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers
out to sea. Large breaking waves can cause injury, wash people
off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats near shore.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tide around 7 feet (MLLW) is expected
to occur between 8 AM and 12 PM. There is a high risk for
breaking waves at Morro Bay Harbor entrance and flooding at
Oceano Dunes State Park during peak tides.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Do
NOT drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.

Remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions, or stay
near occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadly in
such conditions, stay off the rocks.

SATURDAY...
...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to 1.2 ft of
inundation above ground level is possible in low lying areas
near shorelines and tidal waterways. For the Beach Hazards
Statement, a long period westerly swell will result in an

breaking waves of 14 to 19 feet. In favored locations breaking
  waves could reach 25 feet.

* WHERE...San Francisco and Monterey Bay.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 2 PM PST Saturday.
For the Beach Hazards Statement, until 9 AM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Sneaker waves can unexpectedly run significantly
farther up the beach than normal, including over rocks and
jetties. Rip currents are typically more frequent and stronger
in the vicinity of jetties, inlets, and piers. Flooding of
lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures
  expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...At the San Francisco tidal gauge high
tide is expected to be 1.1 ft above normal (7.0 ft MLLW) at
11:42 AM Friday, and 0.9 ft above normal (6.7 ft MLLW) at
12:31 PM Saturday. High tide timing varies up to 90 minutes
earlier or later along the coast and throughout the Bay
  respectively.
