* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northern Burnet County in south central Texas...

* WHEN...Until 845 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 549 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
    area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Sunnylane, Lake Victor and Watson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

  Southeastern Hamilton County in central Texas...

* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become
  impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 544 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain along a line
    from Lampasas to Gatesville to Cranfills Gap. Radar estimates up
    to 2 inches of rain has fallen in the past hour. Additional
    rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible this morning.
    Minor flooding on roads and other low lying areas may occur.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Copperas Cove, Gatesville, Arnett, Harbin, Levita, King, Purmela,
    South Purmela, Ireland, Pearl, Jonesboro, Pidcoke, Pancake,
    Whiteway and Topsey.

    southeastern Lampasas County including around Lampasas. Radar
    estimates up to 2 inches of rain has fallen in the past hour.
    Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible this
    morning. Minor flooding of roads and other low lying areas may
    occur.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Copperas Cove, Lampasas, Kempner and Rumley.

    Gap to Meridian to Lake Whitney to Covington. Radar estimates to
    2.5 inches of rain has fallen in the past hour. Additional
    rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible. Minor flooding of
    roads and other low lying areas may occur this morning.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Clifton, Meridian, Blum, Cranfills Gap, Covington, Lake Whitney,
    Lake Whitney State Park, Meridian State Park, Morgan, Retreat,
    Cedar Shores, Lakewood Harbor, Norse, Lakeside Village, Kopperl,
    Womack and Osceola.
