...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Michigan...

  Sycamore Creek At Holt affecting Ingham County.

  Red Cedar River At East Lansing affecting Ingham County.

  Portage River near Vicksburg affecting Kalamazoo County.

.Additional rainfall from one quarter to one half inch is expected
tonight. This isn`t expected to worsen the flooding but will slow
the fall on the rivers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Expect minor flooding of low lying areas
  adjacent to the river, in the Lansing Municipal Golf Course and
  sections of East Mt. Hope Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 8.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 6.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:00 AM EDT Friday was 8.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 4.5 feet
    Friday, April 11.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    8.4 feet on 04/20/2013.

  - At 11:30 AM EDT Friday the stage was 7.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 6.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:30 AM EDT Friday was 7.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 7.8
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    7.9 feet on 04/21/2013.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 3:30 PM EDT Thursday was 5.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 5.2
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just
    after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

.Recent rainfall of 2 to 3 inches has generated enough runoff to
raise the river over its banks.

For the River Raisin...including Blissfield...Minor flooding is
forecast.
