This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Showers and thunderstorms will be possible over the higher terrain of
the Divide this afternoon ahead of an approaching wave. As this wave
moves into northern Utah, the focus of activity will shift to
northeast Utah. The main threats will be gusty outflow winds, with a
lesser chance of brief heavy rain. Additionally, gusty southwest
winds are expected this afternoon.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Drier and warmer conditions return Wednesday through Friday. The next
storm system moves in Saturday, bringing cooler temperatures and
potentially widespread preciptation. The highest elevations could see
some snow. Cooler and unsettled weather lingers into early next week.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible over the Palmer
Divide and the rest of the high country this afternoon and this
evening. Wind gusts to 40 mph, moderate to briefly heavy rainfall,
and frequent lightning will be the primary risks with storms
today.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
Increasing coverage of showers and thunderstorms can be expected
along and west of the Continental Divide Friday night, with
chances of precipitation spreading east Saturday and Saturday
night, as an upper level weather system lifts out across the
Rockies. Light snow accumulations will be possible across the
higher mountain peaks on Saturday.
At and below seasonal temperatures with chances of showers and
storms will continue across the region into early next week.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
There is a 10% chance for showers over western portions this
morning, increasing to 40-60% of showers and thunderstorms after
1200. There is a 30-50% for showers and thunderstorms over the
central basins and southern portions between 3 PM and 9 PM. Wind
gusts up to 40 mph will be the main threat. There is a 10% chance for
locally heavy rain with the stronger storms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Friday and Saturday...Chances for precipitation return to western
portions Friday, spreading across the forecast area Friday night into
Saturday. Elevated fire weather conditions will be possible from
Rock Springs to Casper Friday afternoon. Snow levels around 9500 ft
over western portions Friday, dropping to 7500-8500 ft across the
rest of the area Saturday.
Saturday night and Sunday night...Freezing to near freezing temperatures
possible in the lower elevations.

Colorado.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Scattered showers and storms are expected to develop this
afternoon over the mountains, with potential for a few to move
onto the lower elevations. While no severe storms are expected,
there could be small hail, gusty winds to 40 mph, and brief heavy
rainfall as they pass.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Afternoon showers and storms will be possible Tuesday, primarily
for the higher elevations. Mild and dry conditions will be in
place thereafter, with little chance for precipitation before the
next disturbance brings unsettled weather for Friday and
Saturday, mainly for the mountains and northern plains.
