This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Nebraska, north central Nebraska, panhandle Nebraska, southwest
Nebraska, and west central Nebraska.


.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Elevated fire weather conditions will linger mainly east of Hwy
183 before easing late in the day.

Potential for scattered thunderstorms across central and western
Nebraska late this afternoon through tonight. Severe weather is
not expected at this time.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Potential for scattered thunderstorms Sunday night through
Monday, mainly along and east of Hwy 83. Severe weather is not
expected at this time.

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

There is a very low chance for a strong to marginally severe storm
late this afternoon and during the early evening hours. An isolated
wind gust to 65 mph and small hail would be possible if a strong
storm did develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Gusty south winds will keep the grassland fire danger very high
through about midnight across central Kansas. Outdoor burning
should be avoided.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Warm and windy conditions will support very high to low-end extreme
grassfire danger Friday, mainly across central, north-central, and
east-central Kansas.

Strong southerly wind gusts around 45 mph will impact central and
north-central Kansas Friday. Some blowing dust may accompany the
strong winds.

A showers and thunderstorms are possible Friday night through
Sunday mainly west of I-135. Higher rain and storm chances should
sweep east across the region Sunday night through Monday. Severe
weather or widespread heavy rainfall is not expected.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
south central Kansas, southwest Kansas, and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Near-critical fire weather conditions will occur today as south
winds range 20 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 50 mph at times. Despite
relative humidity not reaching critical levels of 15 percent or
lower, fire behavior will be aggressive and very difficult to
manage should an open flame get out of control.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Strong south winds will continue through the weekend ahead of a
deep upper level storm system, however higher Gulf of Mexico
moisture will move in, so fire weather conditions will not be as
high as today.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Storm spotters are not expected to be needed today and tonight.
