338 AM CDT Tue Sep 2 2025

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Through around 10 AM, at least patchy, primarily light fog is
likely across much of our forecast area. However, mainly for
several Nebraska counties along and especially north of Interstate
80, conditions are more favorable for at least patchy dense fog
reducing visibility to 1/4 mile or less, and a Dense Fog Advisory
is in effect for those counties through 10 AM.

Mainly between 5 and 9 PM this afternoon and evening, there is a
slight chance that a few thunderstorms could develop mainly within
the western half of our Nebraska forecast area...mainly within
some counties along and especially west of Highway 281. Although
storm development is overall-unlikely, if any do manage to form, a
briefly-stronger storm is possible, capable of producing small
hail and/or gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A few thunderstorms appear possible within limited parts of our
forecast area during the day Wednesday, but severe storms are
not currently anticipated.
