PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Mill Creek at Washington.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Low lands along the creek flood from
  Morrowville to Washington flood.
  At 19.0 feet, Osage Road, located 2 miles west and 1 mile north of
  Washington, floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 21.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.2
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late
    tonight.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Black Vermillion River near Frankfort.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Minor flooding of lowland areas occurs
  along the river from Vermillion to the mouth of the Black
  Vermillion River.
  At 26.0 feet, The west bank of the river floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 21.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.5
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late
    tonight.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* WHERE...Big Blue River near Blue Rapids.

* WHEN...Until late Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs from
  Marysville to Tuttle Creek Lake.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 28.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.1
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
    tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Salt Creek near Ada.

* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Minor low land flooding along the Salt
  Creek.
  At 20.0 feet, 50th Road just south of the bridge over the Salt
  Creek floods.
  At 20.2 feet, Deck of 50th Road bridge over the Salt Creek floods.
  At 21.0 feet, Flood waters are over one half mile wide over
  cultivated farm land 3 miles east southeast of the town of Ada.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 19.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.6
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas...

  Salt Creek At Barnard affecting Lincoln County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
drown.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

The next statement will be issued this evening at 845 PM CDT.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Salt Creek at Barnard.

* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, The North 250th Road by the Salt Creek
  Bridge will have water over the road in the section about 1/2
  block north of the bridge where the road bends.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 22.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    this evening and continue falling to 14.3 feet Wednesday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
